Transfer Guards Brown-Turner and Battle Find New Homes at Maryland and Ohio State.
Maryland women's basketball team has landed NC State transfer guard Jakia Brown-Turner, who has one year of college eligibility remaining. Brown-Turner, a top-15 recruit in the nation, spent the last four seasons with the Wolfpack and has a career average of 10.5 points per game. With the loss of freshman guard Gia Cooke to the portal last week, Brown-Turner's commitment puts the Terps at 12 filled roster spots, leaving head coach Brenda Frese with three open spots to be filled.
