Reds Shake Up Roster with Jake Wong and Randy Wynne Moves
The Cincinnati Reds have selected the contract of right-hander Jake Wong and recalled righty Eduardo Salazar from Triple-A Louisville, while designating righty Randy Wynne for assignment. Wong was acquired from the Giants in a trade for Blake Sabol and has struggled in his first taste of the upper levels of the farm this year, but has been called up due to the Reds' overtaxed pitching corps. Wynne made his major league debut yesterday but was quickly bounced due to the same reason.
