"General Hospital" dominated the 50th annual Daytime Emmy Awards, winning six trophies including Outstanding Drama Series. "The Bold and the Beautiful" actors Thorsten Kaye and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood won lead acting honors. Other winners included Robert Gossett for supporting actor, Eden McCoy for outstanding younger performer, and Alley Mills for guest performance. Susan Lucci received the Lifetime Achievement Honor, and "The Young and the Restless" won for outstanding writing team.
