Ford CEO Jim Farley confirmed that owners of Ford F-150 Lightning and Mustang Mach-E electric vehicles will soon be able to reserve complimentary adapters to use Tesla Supercharger stations, aiming to make charging more convenient for Ford EV owners. This move follows Ford's switch to the J3400 standard for DC fast charging and its negotiation of access to Tesla's Supercharger network, setting off a trend among automakers to provide access to the network via adapters and native J3400 ports in their EVs. Owners will be able to reserve the adapters starting this spring.
