"Hayward City's Website Shut Down After Cyberattack"
The city of Hayward in California shut down its website after falling victim to a cyberattack, described as a "cyber-security incident and intrusion" into its computer networks. IT crews are investigating the extent of the problem, but there is currently no evidence of a breach of personal information. This is the second East Bay city to be targeted in this type of attack, following Oakland's ransomware attack earlier this year.
