Pro-Palestinian Protesters Spark Chaos in NYC, Targeting Israeli Symbols
A pro-Palestinian demonstrator set an Israeli flag on fire and stomped on it during a protest in New York City. The protest, attended by hundreds of people, called for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas and freedom for Palestinians. Onlookers cheered as the flag burned. The protest also saw confrontations between Palestinian supporters and an Israel supporter, as well as incidents of vandalism, including spray-painting an NYPD vehicle with "Free Gaza" and other messages.
