Irvin Walker II, who was shot three times during the Texas mall shooting, managed to escape and survive by running to a store for help and then fleeing the area until someone picked him up and put him in the back of a police cruiser. The shooter, who targeted the mall and shot people at random, died after a confrontation with police. Eight people were killed and seven, including Walker, were injured.
