Twitch Empowers Streamers with Enhanced User Bans
Twitch is introducing a new safety feature that allows streamers to completely hide their streams from users who have been banned, providing a solution to harassment. The feature will be available in September and will work instantly. Twitch is also considering implementing IP bans in the future to further prevent certain individuals from watching streams. The ban currently does not apply to VODs or clips, but this may change. Streamers will have the option to disable the ability to prevent banned users from viewing their streams.
