Tropical Disturbances Brewing in the Atlantic Ocean
A tropical depression is likely to form in the North Atlantic Ocean in the next 48 hours, according to the National Hurricane Center. The weather pattern, known as Invest Area 92L, is currently a tropical wave producing showers and thunderstorms southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands. The system has an 80% chance of developing over the next 48 hours and 90% over the next seven days as it moves westward over the Atlantic Ocean.
