The release of The Lost Caverns of Ixalan has revived the Jeskai Ascendancy combo archetype in Modern. The deck utilizes cards like Jeskai Ascendancy, Emry, Lurker of the Loch, and Mox Amber to generate infinite mana, large creatures, and card advantage. The addition of Inti, Seneschal of the Sun has provided the deck with a powerful tool, allowing for extra card plays and trample damage. While the deck has strengths in both combo and combat damage, it lacks interaction and can struggle against faster combo decks. Nonetheless, the deck's potential breakout remains to be seen.
