Packers' Youthful Rookies Impress at Minicamp
The Green Bay Packers held their rookie minicamp over the weekend, with head coach Matt LaFleur praising the energy and effort of the 48 participants. The camp included the debut of the Packers' 13-player draft class, as well as 11 undrafted free agents, 14 tryout players, nine returning players, and one international player. The Packers allocated Nigerian linebacker Kenneth Odumegwu through the NFL's International Pathway Program, while local player Jack Plumb was among the 14 tryout players competing for a spot on the 90-man offseason roster. Special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia received his first opportunity to lead a practice as assistant head coach.
