Ukraine Foils Air Attacks on Odesa as British and Dutch Jets Target Russian Bombers
Ukraine claims to have intercepted three waves of drones and missiles launched by Russia targeting the port city of Odesa. The attacks resulted in damage to buildings and injuries to two supermarket employees. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy's adviser stated that the counteroffensive against Russian forces in occupied areas of Ukraine will focus on systematically destroying the enemy's capabilities rather than engaging in large-scale battles. In a separate incident, British and Dutch fighter jets were scrambled to intercept Russian bombers flying near their airspace. The Russian attacks on Odesa are seen as an attempt to disrupt Ukraine's grain exports and historical sites.
