Fujifilm Japan announced the Instax Mini Evo Cinema, a camera that combines retro-inspired video recording with instant printing, allowing users to capture short videos, convert them into QR codes, and print photos with embedded video links, all while offering vintage effects and smartphone connectivity.
Fujifilm is launching the Instax Pal, a tiny digital camera that connects to a companion app via Bluetooth and prints using the Instax Mini Link 2. It can also print to other Instax printers. The camera weighs just 41g and has a wider angle lens for capturing group shots. The Instax Pal comes with a 4.9MP sensor and is designed for easy sharing and passing around at parties. It will be available in October, bundled with the Instax Mini Link 2 for $199.95, or as a standalone purchase for £89.99 in the UK and Europe, and AU$149 in Australia.
