Eddie Murphy in Negotiations for 'Pink Panther' Reboot Role
Eddie Murphy is in talks to star as Inspector Clouseau in MGM's upcoming "Pink Panther" film, directed by Jeff Fowler and written by Chris Bremner. The franchise began with Peter Sellers as Inspector Jacques Clouseau and has also featured Alan Arkin, Roger Moore, and Steve Martin. Murphy is best known for leading comedy classics such as "The Nutty Professor" and "Coming to America," as well as voicing Donkey in the "Shrek" franchise.
