The teenager, who was already injured and disoriented after the accident, was sobbing near the wrecked car when deputies ordered him to sit down. Despite his pleas and complaints of not being able to breathe, the officers tased him multiple times, causing him to fall and suffer a traumatic brain injury. Rivero has filed a lawsuit against the Monroe County Sheriff's Office and the deputies involved.
