Ukraine Investigates Suspicious Wiretap in Military Chief's Office
Ukraine's security service has launched a criminal probe after a suspected spying device was found in an office that could have been used by Commander in Chief Valery Zaluzhnyi. The device, initially characterized as a bug, was found to be in a non-operational state with no means of information storage or remote transmission of audio recordings. The investigation is being conducted under Ukraine's criminal code on the unlawful acquisition, sale, or use of special technical means for obtaining information. Zaluzhnyi has been mentioned as a possible target for a reshuffle in top military ranks due to disagreements with President Volodymyr Zelensky over the conduct of the war against Russia.
