
Brazilian Rock Legend Rita Lee Passes Away at 75
Rita Lee, a founding member of Brazilian Tropicália group Os Mutantes and regarded as the "Queen of Rock," has died at the age of 75. Os Mutantes fused psychedelia, pop, and experimental techniques, and their impact extended into modern American rock. Lee issued over 20 solo albums and was among the first Brazilian artists to record with the electric guitar.
