Marvel has announced the release of a new ongoing series called "Avengers United" as part of their exclusive Infinity Comics lineup. The first issue is now available to read on Marvel Unlimited, with subsequent issues releasing every Thursday. The series, written by Derek Landy and illustrated by Marcio Fiorito, kicks off with a 25-issue arc featuring Earth's Mightiest Heroes responding to an impending interstellar disaster. The opening arc will also introduce a new alien race called the Ghesh, who pose a mysterious threat to the Avengers.
The Guardians of the Galaxy must steal back jewels for the Kree Empire from Ego the Living Planet in a four-part story called "Guardians of the Galaxy: The Jewel of Death" on the Marvel Unlimited app. The series is adapted from a webtoon and created by Christos Gage and Gang Hyuk Lim. New chapters will be released every Wednesday on the app.
Marvel Unlimited's X-Men: 60 Uncanny Years Live Virtual Event announced several new series and story arcs, including the "Fall of X" starting at this year's Hellfire Gala, the return of the Uncanny Avengers, and a new solo story for Negasonic Teenage Warhead. The event also featured giveaways and a real-life Hellfire Gala hosted by D23 at San Diego Comic-Con.
