Carol Kaye Declines Rock Hall Induction Over 'Wrecking Crew' Label
Legendary bassist Carol Kaye is declining her induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame due to her objection to the 'Wrecking Crew' nickname used to describe her and other studio musicians, which she finds insulting and unreflective of their work in the 1960s.
