Pregnant shooting victim on life support, family pleads for prayers
Karla Brown, a 19-year-old victim of the Independence Center mall shooting, is on life support and is pregnant with a boy, according to her family. Three other individuals were injured in the shootout between two groups of people. The family plans to donate Brown's organs, and three persons of interest are currently in custody. The motive behind the violence and the relationship between the two groups involved are still under investigation.
