DC Sets Road Closures for Historic Board of Peace Meeting
DC will see traffic disruptions Thursday for the inaugural meeting of President Trump’s Board of Peace, with Theodore Roosevelt Bridge inbound/outbound closures to Constitution Ave NW and additional closures on 23rd Street (E Street to Lincoln Memorial Circle NW) and a section of Constitution Ave NW. Inbound bridge traffic will be diverted to the E Street Expressway or Independence Avenue via the Potomac River Freeway, and parking is restricted 12:01 a.m.–1 p.m.; closures run from 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
