The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles experienced a system outage affecting all online and in-person services, including county tax offices and registration renewal locations. All systems have since come back online, and TxDMV Regional Service Centers will reopen at noon. The department handles vehicle registrations and titles, as well as license plates.
