The "Imperial Patek Philippe," a rare Patek Philippe 96 complete calendar moonphase owned by Emperor Puyi, the last emperor of the Qing Dynasty, has sold for HKD 48,850,000 (about $6.2 million) in a dedicated sale alongside 11 other items from Puyi. The watch is the most expensive vintage wristwatch ever sold at auction and is just the eighth complete calendar moonphase ref. 96, and the third known Quantieme Lune in platinum. The watch's provenance and rarity make it a historically important timepiece.
