Tom Cruise Battles for Summer Box Office Dominance.
Tom Cruise is reportedly trying to get the release dates for the highly anticipated movies, Barbie and Oppenheimer, moved as they are set to release on the same day as his upcoming film, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. Cruise is concerned that Oppenheimer will take all IMAX screens in North America and other territories for three weeks following its release, leaving fans with only nine days to see his film in IMAX. Despite his efforts, it is unlikely that the release dates for Barbie or Oppenheimer will be moved at this point.
