Top US Swimmers Withdraw from Mission Viejo Pro Swim and Focus on National Team Selection.
Three Sandpipers of Nevada swimmers, Katie Grimes, Claire Weinstein, and Ilya Kharun, have dropped out of the 2023 Pro Swim Series in Mission Viejo. Grimes and Weinstein are headed to the World Aquatics Open Water Cup in Italy, while Kharun's reason for withdrawal is unknown. Bella Sims is the only Sandpiper swimmer still on the entry list.
