A civilian attempting to illegally access Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Arizona was shot and killed by security personnel after failing to stop and crashing into a barrier, with authorities stating the security forces acted in accordance with their training.
Journalist and media consultant Timothy Burke has been indicted on 14 federal charges, including conspiracy, for illegally obtaining and distributing electronic items from protected computers and servers, including materials from a multinational media company. Burke and an unnamed co-conspirator allegedly accessed and stole materials, including behind-the-scenes videos from Fox News featuring Tucker Carlson and Kanye West, and covered their tracks to make it appear as though the content did not originate from their illegal access. Burke's lawyer claims the materials were obtained lawfully as part of his journalistic work, but the indictment alleges unauthorized access and interception of communications.
