Protesters disrupt traffic on 110 Freeway in downtown LA
Protesters blocked the southbound lanes of the 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles for nearly 2 hours, demanding a lasting ceasefire and an end to U.S. support for Israel's war on Gaza. Around a dozen protesters were detained after refusing to clear the road, but traffic has since resumed. The protest was organized by IfNotNow Los Angeles, and additional officers were called to the scene to disperse the unlawful assembly.
