"Prisoner's Daring Escape on I-95 in Waltham: Sheriff's Explanation and Capture"
Victor De Moura-Pereira, a 20-year-old detainee for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, escaped from a Plymouth County Sheriff's Office vehicle on a Massachusetts highway by exploiting a vulnerability in the van's interior containment system. He was quickly apprehended in Waltham with the help of law enforcement and members of the public.
