French ice-dancers shrug off Olympic scoring drama, say they deserved more
French ice dancers Laurence Fournier Beaudry and Guillaume Cizeron brushed off the Olympic scoring controversy surrounding their 2026 Milan gold, saying they could have scored higher and that a French judge’s near-eight-point boost helped them beat Madison Chock and Evan Bates. The ISU defended the scoring system, Chock and Bates called for more transparency, and the United States did not appeal the result.
