Multiple Accidents Cause Chaos on I-40 East in Loudon County
Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on I-40 East near Buttermilk Road. The truck driver was taken to UT Medical Center, while a man and a woman were taken to a local hospital. The eastbound lanes were shut down for several hours, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. The semi-truck was carrying 42,000 pounds of frozen lasagna at the time of the crash.
