HX's Maud, an expedition ship, experienced a temporary loss of power after being hit by a wave in the North Sea. The ship is currently being towed to Bremerhaven, Germany, due to damage to the bridge. No serious injuries have been reported among the 500 passengers and crew. The next sailing has been canceled, and the ship is in contact with maritime authorities and support teams. The Maud offers two-week expeditions along the Norwegian Coast and underwent a major refurbishment in 2021.
