
Shooting at Alabama A&M University leaves two injured
Two individuals were injured in a shooting incident at Alabama A&M University, according to the Huntsville Police Department. The shooting, which occurred near the Ernest L. Knight Complex, was determined to be an isolated incident resulting from an altercation between the two individuals. Both individuals will be booked into the Madison County Jail once released from the hospital. The police have confirmed that there is no evidence to suggest the involvement of any other individuals or an active shooter situation. The university issued alerts to faculty and staff, but later declared an all-clear status, with a heightened police presence on campus for ongoing investigations.
