Merrie Monarch Festival 2023: Highlights and Last Chance to Experience.

Oahu halau Ka Lā ‘Ōnohi Mai O Ha’eha’e, led by Tracie and Keawe Lopes, won top honors at the 60th annual Merrie Monarch Festival after delivering stunning hula performances in the kahiko and ‘auana competitions. The halau also produced the Miss Aloha Hula winner, Agnes Renee Leihiwahiwaikapolionāmakua Thronas Brown. The festival showcased various hula performances, including those honoring Princess Ruth Keʻelikōlani and Puna and Kumukahi.
