Metro-North launches 'Super-Express' trains to cut Poughkeepsie commute to 88 minutes
Starting October 6, Metro-North's new super-express trains will reduce travel time from Poughkeepsie to NYC to under 90 minutes, with some trips taking as little as 88 minutes, thanks to schedule improvements, infrastructure upgrades, and new locomotives, providing faster and more reliable service for Hudson Valley commuters.
