Miami Marlins pitcher Edward Cabrera has been placed on the 15-day injured list due to a right shoulder impingement, with the placement retroactive to June 14. The move is somewhat precautionary, and the team is hoping Cabrera will only miss two starts. Cabrera joins Trevor Rogers and Johnny Cueto as projected rotation stalwarts currently on the injured list. Right-hander Huascar Brazoban has been called up from Triple-A in the corresponding move.
