Forza Horizon 6 Renews its Career Flavor with Wristband Progression
Forza Horizon 6 will overhaul its early-game feel by reviving the Wristband progression system. Players start as tourists, join the Horizon Festival via Horizon Qualifiers, and then rise through ranks by completing races and events in progressively faster cars. At the end of each round, players prove they’re ready to advance through spectacular events like Horizon Showcases and new Horizon Rush obstacle courses. A Gold Wristband unlocks Legend Island, an exclusive map region, rewarding dedication with unique events. Playground Games hopes this mix of exploration and a more traditional career ladder will address past FH titles’ progression criticisms. The game launches on Xbox Series X|S and PC in May 2026.
