Disney's 'World of Frozen' Expands with Grand Opening at Hong Kong Disneyland
Hong Kong Disneyland has opened its largest expansion since 2005, featuring a new Frozen-themed section with rides and attractions based on the popular Disney film. The park's expansion comes as part of Disney's $60 billion investment in park and cruise expansions over the next decade. With Chinese tourists returning after the pandemic, the new attraction aims to boost attendance and turn around the park's previous losses. Disney also has plans for Zootopia-themed area in Shanghai, a Fantasy Springs port in Tokyo, and a Frozen-themed "Kingdom of Arendelle" in Disneyland Paris.
