Josh Gad's "Honey, I Shrunk The Kids" Reboot Faces Budget Issues and Uncertain Future.
Josh Gad has given an update on the sequel to the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids franchise, called Shrunk. The film has faced setbacks due to Covid-19 and budget constraints. The reboot would center around Gad, one of Szalinski’s kids who is following in his father’s footsteps as an inventor. Fans are encouraged to let Disney know if they want the film to be made. The original film was released in 1989 and was followed up by two sequels and a television series.
