A landslide in Newport Beach has put three homes at risk, with one losing most of its backyard and the other two being yellow-tagged as a precaution. The location, near the back bay and the Upper Newport Bay State Marine Conservation Area, has seen a similar slide in March 2023. Crews are on the scene to protect life and property and limit the damage.
