Kentucky's Hit-by-Pitches Propel Them to Regional Final Against Indiana.
Kentucky Baseball players were hit by 14 pitches in two games, nine of which were against Indiana, in the NCAA Tournament Regional. The team has been hit by 21 pitches in the regional, with Indiana hitting 20 UK batters in 24 innings this season. Kentucky players prepared for the hit-by-pitches in batting practice and "feed off" of them. The team dominated both games, beating West Virginia 10-0 and Indiana 16-6, to stay alive in the tournament. Kentucky and Indiana will face off again tonight for a spot in the Super Regional.
