"White Sox Suffer Worst Start in Franchise History Since 1907"

The Chicago White Sox are off to a historically bad start in the 2024 MLB season, currently sitting at 2-14 with six shutout losses, a feat not seen since the 1907 Brooklyn Superbas. The team's offensive struggles are evident, with the worst OPS in baseball and a lack of home runs and hits with runners in scoring position. Injuries to key players have further compounded their woes, but the addition of former Mets outfielder Tommy Pham aims to provide a much-needed boost to the struggling team.

Dodgers' Bobby Miller Continues Historic Start with Dominant Outing Against Phillies.

Dodgers pitcher Bobby Miller continues his historic start to his career, becoming just the fourth pitcher in AL/NL history to go at least five innings and allow no more than one run in each of his first four career starts. Miller threw six scoreless innings against the Phillies, lowering his ERA to 0.78 and improving to 3-0. Despite facing a bases-loaded jam in the second inning, Miller retired 11 of the final 13 batters he faced and held opposing hitters to just 1-for-13 with runners in scoring position. Miller's emergence comes at a perfect time for the Dodgers, who have only four healthy starters.
