"Hurricane Hilary wreaks havoc in Southern California, causing closures and warnings"

As San Diego prepares for the arrival of Storm Hilary, a number of state parks, beaches, businesses, and public facilities will be closed or canceled. State beaches, inland state parks, and the Cabrillo National Monument will be closed due to flooding concerns. The City of San Diego is closing all public facilities, including libraries, rec centers, and beaches. The San Diego Zoo Safari Park, Del Mar Race Track, SeaWorld San Diego, and several farmers markets will also be closed. Additionally, the city's reservoir lakes will be closed, San Diego State University will hold virtual classes, and Amtrak Pacific Surfliner trains have been canceled. The Oceanside Pier and beach walkway will be closed, and the America's Finest City Half Marathon & 5K has been canceled.
