Brush Fire Contained, Hwy 370 Reopened in Papillion.
A large brush fire closed both eastbound and westbound lanes on Highway 370, but all lanes have since been reopened. The fire prompted a red flag warning in much of eastern Nebraska and western Iowa until 8 p.m. Saturday night. Douglas County fire chiefs previously issued a county-wide burn ban that started Thursday, March 30, and is in effect until further notice. The cause of the fire is unknown.
