Israeli Air Strike Claims Life of Prominent Palestinian Scientist in Gaza
A prominent Palestinian scientist, Sufyan Tayeh, and his family were killed in an Israeli air strike targeting the town of Al-Faluja in Gaza. Tayeh, who served as the president of the Islamic University of Gaza and was a leading researcher in physics and applied mathematics, was among the casualties. The Palestinian Higher Education ministry confirmed the incident.
