
"Chiefs Parade Shooting: Community Response and Calls for Action"
Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire has been honored with a Heroism Award from the Uvalde Foundation For Kids for his actions during the aftermath of a mass shooting at the Super Bowl celebration parade. Edwards-Helaire is recognized for keeping a young boy safe during the shooting, and he joins others, including Trey Filter, in being credited for their bravery during the incident. Several Chiefs players, including Trey Smith and James Winchester, have also shared their stories of protecting and comforting children during the shooting.
