The Hendersonville Public Library in Tennessee has faced safety concerns after a bomb threat was made following weeks of allegations in conservative media outlets. The library director has called for increased police presence and a cease and desist letter to be sent to the event host after multiple threats were made since a children's story hour held by Christian actor Kirk Cameron and his publishing company in February. The library staff has been accused of disrespecting Cameron's First Amendment rights, but the Hendersonville and Sumner County Mayor have defended the library. Police are investigating the threat.
