Fatal Shooting in Southeast Valley Leads to Arrest by Henderson Police

An 86-year-old man, Jerome Seligman, has been arrested by Henderson police after a 79-year-old woman was shot to death in a residence in the southeast valley. The victim was taken to a local hospital but was pronounced dead. Seligman has been charged with open murder with a deadly weapon and is currently in custody at the Henderson Detention Center. This incident marks the fifth homicide in Henderson this year. The name of the victim will be released by the Clark County Coroner's Office.

Manhunt underway for multiple escaped inmates in different states.

Surveillance video shows the arrest of James Lee, one of the two escaped Ohio inmates, lying on the ground as officers apprehend him. Bradley Gillespie, the other escaped inmate, ran away after the car they were in crashed. Lee is currently in the Henderson County jail, awaiting extradition back to Ohio. Law enforcement is questioning him for information that may help in the search for Gillespie. The cause of their escape from the Ohio prison is still unknown.
