
Mick Foley Recalls Original Plans and Legacy of WWE's Hell in a Cell Match
Mick Foley revealed that the iconic Hell in a Cell match between him and The Undertaker in 1998 originally had a different planned spot involving a variation of the chokeslam. However, during the course of the day, Foley suggested the idea of being thrown off the top of the cell, which ultimately became one of the most famous bumps in wrestling history. Foley also mentioned that the cell structure was not as sturdy as expected, being held together with twist ties and zip ties, which he noticed breaking apart during the match.
