Tim Bruns and Eleni Lazares met on a flight from JFK to Los Angeles in 2018. Despite feeling hungover and looking "awful," they struck up a conversation and quickly connected. They maintained a long-distance relationship until Lazares relocated to California in 2021. Bruns proposed in Florence, Italy, and they recently got married in a Greek orthodox ceremony.
