Gal Gadot's 'Heart of Stone' Blends Action, History, and Female Empowerment
The production team of Netflix's spy thriller "Heart of Stone," starring Gal Gadot, went to great lengths to protect the 500-year-old locations used in the film. The team broke cameras and damaged cars during intense action sequences filmed on the cobbled streets of Lisbon, Portugal. Stunt coordinator Jo McLaren praised the film's focus on "reality-based" action and working with a female lead. The movie features impressive set-pieces, including a car chase through Lisbon, a fight scene in a safe house, and an aerial sequence with real skydivers. Despite some challenges, the team successfully captured the authentic atmosphere of the film's locations.
